OrthoSelect, a leading orthodontics software company and digital orthodontics laboratory, announces three key enhancements to its DIBS AI digital bonding platform. Already the premier provider in digital indirect bonding (IDB), OrthoSelect advances the science of precision digital bracket placement even further by making digital bonding easier for orthodontic professionals. New features include:
New Non-Stick IDB Trays: To make the bracket bonding process even easier, OrthoSelect has improved the 3D-printed IDB trays the company provides directly to orthodontists. These advanced trays will be virtually stick-free from excess primer or adhesive when removing from patients’ teeth. Of course, practitioners must still use proper techniques to achieve optimal results and minimize flash. OrthoSelect will introduce these new trays in May.
DIBS AI Online: Up to now, DIBS AI has primarily been available for installation on PC platforms only. To better serve the growing demand for our service, OrthoSelect will be launching an online, browser-based version users can access to review, modify and approve cases regardless of computer platform. This online version should be available by this summer.
Improved Initial Case Setups: Beginning in 3Q23, our technicians and advanced AI will begin providing customized case setups based on each doctor’s individual preferences.
In discussing these latest enhancements, OrthoSelect President Steven Gardner stated, “We have always been committed to a very active R&D program to make sure our users have the latest and best in both computer software technology and materials science. These latest advancements are a further demonstration of this ongoing commitment to our customers’ success.”
Be sure to visit the OrthoSelect booth (#1735) at the upcoming American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Annual Session, April 21-24 in Chicago, IL to learn more about the latest advances in DIBS AI.
About DIBS AI
The DIBS AI software platform simplifies and automates the process of orthodontic patient case setups, creates predictive outcomes based on your preferred bracket prescriptions, and provides theflexibility to 3D print extremely accurate bracket transfer appliances (commonly known as IDB trays). These advancements free up precious doctor, staff, and chair time by shortening bonding appointments by a third or more, as well as reducing overall treatment time through significant decreases in wire bending and bracket repositioning. The benefits in improved accuracy and time savings can result in a reduction of 25% or more of the orthodontist’s cost of treatment.
